Level 10 Any color will work on this base color. Level 9 Almost any color will work on this base color and depending on the porosity of your hair, some pastels may take to a level 9 as well. Colors to use: Blue, Emerald, Hot Pink, Purple, Red, Teal, Honey, Merlot, and Copper Onyx Espresso and Mocha are also not recommended for level 6 or higher. Level 8 The majority of our colors turn out really vibrantly, with the exception of our pastel collection. Levels 5 is the darkest possible for a visible tint of color without pre-lightening. Levels 1-4 you will want to prelighten your hair to get any new color to show. ![]()
